What customers say?

“ I think it’s a great place! Has an English menu. Some of it can be difficult as not all is translated, but Google translate worked for me. Staff was also so kind and knew English! Got the rump steak dinner course. Some pretty tender meat and the rest of the pretty good! The food was delicious! The second appetizer it really didn’t know what it was and it was alright, but other than that everything I got was great! ”

“ Really great food. The Sake tasting was well worth it. We had a selection of beef and chicken + the mixed vegetables- all grilled at the table by us. My son got the cheese sausages and fries and they were also very good (and he could grill his sausages, too). We had desserts (crème brûlée and waffle with ice cream) both really good! Very family friendly. You order via a QR code from your phone at the table (free WiFi available if you don’t have mobile data). They had an English menu and the phone app was also dual language and had pictures of the food. It was super easy to order (especially helpful as after 2 weeks of using our terrible Japanese language skills and pantomime, eating out was becoming a bit stressful.). This restaurant has it all - good food, easy to order and it was just fun! Highly recommend!! Best part we reserved via google which made it even easier. ”

“ We ordered all sorts of beef and it was all really yummy, perfect for a cold rainy day when we went. Definitely recommend the thinly sliced kuroge beef which you grill for only 20 seconds. The staff were friendly and just love it when the toilets provide the smell remover spray. Pricing was also great! ”

“ Ordered the A5 Japanese Black Beef "Kiwami" Yakiniku Assortment - I was thoroughly impressed. Marbled perfection, melt-in-your-mouth beef. Also enjoyed some sake, and finished with creme brûlée for dessert. Very satisfied with my entire experience here, highly recommend! ”

“ Lovely local bbq restaurant -very reasonably priced and great selection of meats - we had the steak variety platter which was very interesting. ”

“ A grilled meat restaurant with delicious flavors. There are many cuts of meat to choose from. The Wagyu beef is of high quality and very tender. They also have venison, pork, and chicken. Fast service, just a short wait. ”

“ We were visiting Kyoto from Texas and this was near our hotel. This was the most delicious and tender steak I have ever had! The presentation was beautiful! We got the 3 kinds of Wagyu for 4 and 2 sides of veggies and rice and I was stuffed by the end. The staff were very friendly, but did not speak much English, but we were able to communicate easily with Google Translate. I’d recommend this to anyone wanting a delicious meal! We paid around $70 USD per person but it was worth it! ”
